We are in a renovation of our rooms, bathrooms, sauna, public areas and restaurant. Soon we will present our hotel in a new concept and contemporary design.

Unfortunately, the sauna is not available at the moment. In the months of May and June our facade will be gradually renewed and there may be restrictions on the view (depending on the room and its orientation).

"On Cobbles"
With us you will find, besides pure nature, one thing above all - variety.
Directly at the house the gnarled trees of our orchards. On your hikes shady forest paths, gently winding brook and river courses. Then in the direction of Karlstadt begin the sun-drenched slopes of famous Franconian vineyards.
Book our hotel for your daily hiking tours. In the evening you are back at Hotel Imhof to "relax and feast" - on Franconian dishes from our menu of "Freshness from Main Spessart". In addition a Bocksbeutel from the winegrowers from the immediate surroundings.

1. once around the once
start hotel door: After a short climb you reach an old customs station (Wirtshaus im Spessart) of the Birkenhainer-Landstraße. Here it goes on with the marking oak leaf once around the once you can also descend after half of the way into the beautiful Sinntal. Via Gemünden you come back to the hotel.
Walking time about 2 hours
2. over the seven mountains to the Snow White town of Lohr.
From the hotel to the Main. You hike "to the valley", to the confluence of the Sinderbach. Along the small brook to the entrance Sohlhöhe. At the top you will find the upper basin of the dam. From here you have a magnificent view in the direction of Frankfurt or Würzburg and on the other side up to the Rhön. Continue "downhill" again in the direction of Lohr.
Here a visit to the Snow White Castle is worthwhile. Perhaps you will also meet the Snow White. Back by bus to hotel.

3. the Franconian wine begins here.
Follow the Main hiking trail directly from the hotel through the Main-Spessart region in the direction of Gemünden. After a slight climb to Wernfeld, you will reach the winegrowing village of Gambach. The way to the "Edelweiß" leads you then over the protected dry lean grounds to Karlstadt. On this path you can experience on foot where the red red sandstones of the Spessart end and the characteristic shell limestone soils of the Franconian wine country begin. From the Edelweiss, the view into the Main valley is unique.
